Women on the Water

E-mail Print

Women on the Water is casual, supervised sailing for women only with friendly, informal tuition from female instructors, and takes place on Tuesday mornings from 10am onwards.  You can sail your own boat if you have one, or club boats will be available for hire.  Safety cover will be provided at all times, as will the essential tea and cakes!  Sailors of every ability are welcome, including complete beginners, and everyone is encouraged to learn at their own pace in a non competitive and relaxed environment.

We are now back sailing after our winter break!

E-mail Print

The Racing Rules of sailing for 2009 – 2012 will be applied at Hunts from 1st January 2009. This is a brief guide to the changes that will most affect us, covering the situations that we are likely to encounter when sailing at the club. We would advise you to make yourself familiar with all the rule changes. There are rule books available in the clubhouse for you to look through when at the club. They can also be downloaded free of charge from the ISAF website (http://www.isaf.org/25472.php).
